Tattling Telling
My kids are at that age where tattling is it seems the only thing that they want to tell me anymore. Mykenzie just the other night came in and informed me after she had slready been told to go get ready for bed that "brother's not brushing his teeth!". So I ask her "have you brushed your teeth?" of course the answer is "No, but brother hasn't brushed his teeth either!". Drew on the other hand is more into the "Mom this is how I would handle Mykenzie" stage. Yes he does tattle on her but then precedes to tell me what I should do to take care of the situation. That's when I tell him to put his 2 cents back in his piggy bank because I don't need them. And as cute and funny as it may sound I am realizing that as adults we still have the same elementary behavior. Now let me say that I am in no way calling anyone out or picky on anyone. I have noticed this in my own life so if it hits home with you too I am sorry. But after having observed this in my kids I see now that it doesn't change with age, if anything it gets worse because you're older and should know better.(Again talking to myself) But for us adults it's not called tattling anymore it's just gossip. "Have you heard what so and so is doing?" or the popular "I would never have done it that way." I am proud to say that I have matured past this to a certain extent but then I hear this past weekends sermon on "Crossing Borders" and I have to repent again. I am happy we serve a God that will gently point out your weakness and help you to overcome it even if it is something He has dealt with you about before. Putting your nose where it doesn't belong can really cause a lot of stress and strife in relationships. And if you think discussing these things with your spouse is a free pass, you're wrong. If we would all just stick with fixing our own problems and not others it would be a more peaceful place. So let's hold each other accountable and if we hear someone crossing borders let's tell them to put their 2 cents back in their piggy banks because we don't need them!

Like looking in a mirror
Not only does my beautiful daughter look just like me, she also acts so much like me it's scary. From her temper ( I think secretly she is a red head) to her sense of humor she is her mother's daughter. Her temper hasn't always been controllable, she is after all the one who slapped the nursery worker in the face because she didn't want to go to church that day. But I am finding the older she gets and the more patient I am with God's grace she is really becoming a beautiful young lady. Even with the fiery streak she has, she is still very sensitive. Just today when I was upset she sat with me to comfort me. Stroking my arm and telling me it was all ok and I better stop crying before she starts crying. That she also gets from me along with anti pack ratness. She had a toy she didn't know where to put so she decided she didn't need it after all and threw it away. That's my girl!! Mykenzie will be 6 in 2 days and I can't believe I let it happen. Like I have a say in it anyways. She is looking forward to KOTM and has informed brother not to worry she will make her own friends and leave him alone. Although I have the feeling Drew will be following her around at times. Just yesterday I was telling her she has the sweetest little voice especially when she is saying "Daddy will you please help me." Even when she is 30 herself celebrating her own daughters birthday I will still think her voice is the sweetest sound in the world. Happy Birthday my sweet angel foot!

Bikes and Tiger's Blood
I hope today is one of those childhood memories that Drew will always remember! Jenni and I went and got the kids bikes yesterday. And if you are looking for one, I met this very nice gentleman that buys old bikes and fixes them up to resale. So Andrew and I took the kids up to the school to teach them to ride. We got on top of the grassy hill and sent Drew rolling down. It didn't take him long to to figure out how to start peddling once he got to the bottom. It was awesome to see him ride and yes I teared up a little. To celebrate we went and got snocones. 3 out 4 got Tiger's blood though I'm not sure what that is but it tasted better than it sounds.

Finally jumping on the blog bandwagon
I have wanted to write a blog for a while now but for one reason or another have talked myself out of it. I guess i figured no one would read it or I would never have anything interesting to say. But with all fears pushed aside I have decided to blog. So here I go...... see told you, nothing to say. Alright I will start with the explanation of the title of my blog. Blog, Blog such a funny word if you say it enough times. I said fears aside not distractions. Ok, title Love ya like crazy is what we say in our family. Not just I love you but love ya like crazy. Love you just didn't seem like enough and of course anyone who knows us knows that we are indeed crazy! And my children being all cute have put endings on to it during holidays. So for instance at christmas it was love ya like christmas crazy, and valentines day was love ya like valentine crazy and of course birthdays well you get the picture. I am hoping this blog will be encouraging and entertaining. And I am also hoping more than just my mother reads it. But mom if you are the only one thank you and please still laugh whenever I tell you something funny that you have already read about. Well good night folks, hopefully I will have more to say tomorrow until then Love ya like blog crazy!!
